- John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish but have everlasting life." In order to get this redemption, we must confess our sins to Christ, admit that we are a sinner, believe that Jesus was crucified for us and that he rose again, and finally repent or turn away from our sinful lifestyle and live righteously for Christ.
